Introduction
Pharyngeal paraesthesia, an intermittently occurring pharyngolaryngeal disease, is due to the disorder of qi marked by pharyngeal foreign object sensation like an object obstructing the throat which cannot be expectorated and swallowed. The disease mostly occurs in people at the age of 30 to 50 and is common in women. The disease does not affect the patient's feeding, nor does it endanger the patient's life. However, because the patient often feels that his throat is obstructed by an object, he can feel unsmoeth swallowing and respiration. Therefore, the patient always worries a lot and has no end of misgivings with great spiritual burden so that his normal life and work are affected.
