Central serous chorioretinopathy is one of rather common fundus diseases characterized by the neurepithelial serous detachment in the macula as a result of the barrier dysfunction of the retinal pigmentary epithelium. The clinical manifestations of the disease mainly include sudden blurred vision, metamorphopsia and micropsia. Frequently seen in the male at the ages of 20 to 45, it often occurs unilaterally, or sometimes bilaterally, and has the tendency of repeated attack and good prognosis.
