The time between 1 and 5 a.m. every day in this month is good for the following exercise. Sit cross-legged with palms flatly on floor and body pushed up. Keep body movements coordinated so as to regulate the circula-tion of qi. Inhale whilst pushing up body but exhale whilst lowering body. Return to the starting position and repeat the whole process 36 times. Then, keeping body in an upright position, click teeth and swallow saliva.

This exercise may help restore lost qi and eliminate stagnant qi in the kidneys and cure pain in the chest and on the rib, dim complexion, headache and ophthalmagia.
